Lectio Divina
Your Chosen Verse:
1. Lectio (Reading)
Read the verse slowly, several times. Pay attention to each word. What does the text literally say?
2. Meditatio (Meditation)
Reflect on the verse. What words or phrases stand out to you? How does it speak to your heart or current situation?
3. Oratio (Prayer)
Respond to God in prayer. What do you want to say to Him based on your reading and meditation?
4. Contemplatio (Contemplation)
Rest in God's presence. Simply be with Him, without words or thoughts. Allow His peace to fill you.
5. Actio (Action)
Consider how you will live out what you have received. What specific action, attitude, or change is God inviting you to make?
